Fabbrica Unique (Unique Store Fixtures Ltd) was selected to design and fabricate the custom fixtures for Planta Restaurant in Toronto, taking over the space formerly occupied by Nota Bene. The project combined precision craftsmanship, creative design, and luxury fabrication to bring the restaurant’s vision to life, demonstrating Fabbrica Unique’s expertise in high-end hospitality interiors.

The interior concept draws inspiration from a traditional Chinese courtyard, blending architectural motifs with modern materials to create a sophisticated and welcoming atmosphere. Colored glass features reflect light throughout the space, adding vibrancy, while metal archways and detailing provide structure, elegance, and a contemporary edge. Sleek stone finishes complete the luxurious yet approachable aesthetic.

Every fixture and architectural element was fabricated in-house, allowing Fabbrica Unique to maintain meticulous attention to detail. Custom cabinetry, display units, counters, and integrated lighting were designed to enhance the guest experience and seamlessly complement the open layout, encouraging exploration and emphasizing the restaurant’s craftsmanship and design innovation.

Lighting design played a critical role in the space, with strategically placed fixtures highlighting glass panels, metal accents, and stone surfaces, creating a warm and inviting environment. The use of premium materials, including bleached wood, metals, and stone, ensures durability and functionality while reinforcing the high-end dining experience.
