With expertise in stone, metal, glass, and custom fabrication all under one roof, Fabbrica Unique (Unique Store Fixtures Ltd) brought the bold and “Instagrammable” installation Dreamland to life in under four weeks, demonstrating the company’s ability to execute complex, high-profile projects with precision and creativity.
Dreamland was the result of a creative partnership between luxury quartz brand Caesarstone and internationally renowned potter and designer Jonathan Adler. The installation debuted at the Toronto Interior Design Show 2020 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, marking the fourth consecutive annual collaboration between Caesarstone and Fabbrica Unique. Each year, this partnership pushes the boundaries of design, fabrication, and presentation, transforming Caesarstone’s premium quartz surfaces into immersive, experiential art installations.
The ambitious project incorporated over 75 slabs of Caesarstone quartz, each weighing more than 1,000 lbs. A dedicated team of 30 skilled installers meticulously assembled the structure, integrating specialized metalwork, custom lighting, and advanced fabrication techniques. Despite the tight four-week timeline, Fabbrica Unique ensured that every element—from quartz placement to structural support—met the highest standards of craftsmanship and safety.
