Toronto Tempo | Coca-Cola Coliseum

Fabbrica Unique was proud to contribute to the realization of the high-performance player facilities for the Toronto Tempo – a landmark project establishing the official home of the WNBA at Coca-Cola Coliseum. Designed by BBB Architects in partnership with EllisDon and Kilmer Group, these facilities represent a historic milestone for women’s professional sport in Canada.

The project was built on a visionary “athlete-first” philosophy, emphasizing a sanctuary-like environment tailored to the unique needs of elite professional athletes. Fabbrica Unique led the high-end stone and millwork fabrication throughout the locker rooms and player lounge, ensuring every element met the highest standards of both durability and aesthetics. This proud collaboration focused on creating an intentional space that balances high-intensity performance with recovery and focus.

Technical excellence was paramount in bringing this architectural vision to life. Fabbrica Unique fabricated custom locker systems featuring disappearing pocket doors, a precision-engineered solution that optimizes space while maintaining a seamless architectural silhouette. The environment is further elevated by integrated sensor lighting, signature “speed line” hardware, and specialized millwork-integrated whiteboards designed for high-level tactical strategy. Throughout the lounge and recovery areas, our team executed striking porcelain marble feature walls and artisan marble countertops, blending high-performance resilience with the sophisticated luxury expected of a premier professional facility. The Toronto Tempo project exemplifies Fabbrica Unique’s commitment to merging architectural vision with expert fabrication, delivering elite athletic environments and specialized millwork solutions that are both visually striking and functionally exceptional.
